Crab meat will be sold in 50 supermarkets

A Devon potted fish producer has landed a major deal with a national supermarket, writes Charles Martin.

The Potted Fish Company, based in Bovey Tracey, has secured a rollout of its products in around 50 Sainsbury’s stores in the South West and South East.

Business owner Jonathan Bailey said: ‘I set my sights on getting my products on the shelves in Sainsbury’s. We’ve had offers from another four big supermarkets but we want to maintain a strong relationship with them.’
