The South Devon Link Road Project has recently been recognised for its achievements in using sustainable and green practices. The project picked up the Gold award at the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice last week, which took place at the Houses of Parliament. Sustainable measures undertaken by the project resulted in 17,800 fewer lorry trips off site and a significant reduction in the amount of materials imported. These actions have helped avoid 43.9tonnes of C02 emissions.
